Cancelling a quotation
Requesting a quotation is free, and there is no obligation to complete an order after submitting a request.
Nonetheless, you can cancel a request for quotation. You may wish to do so in order to distinguish your active projects from your inactive ones. (You can filter your quotations by their status, making active quotations easier to find.)
To cancel a pending quotation, go to My Quotes on the RapidDirect platform. In the Actions column, select Cancel.
Note that you cannot cancel a quotation once we have quoted a price. However, you are under no obligation to accept the price; you can simply leave the quotation unfulfilled.
If you have already accepted the quotation but wish to stop the project, you can cancel the order itself — as long as production has not yet begun. (Once we have started making your parts, you can no longer cancel the order.)
